Why the dryer defines product quality

Briquette strength, water resistance and shelf life all come from proper drying. A mesh belt dryer carries wet briquettes through heated zones on a moving belt, drying gently enough to avoid cracks while removing moisture to under 3–5%. Sun drying works until volume or rainy season makes it the bottleneck.

Key parameters to define

Typical configuration ranges

ItemCommon optionsIndicative range
Belt widthSingle or multi-layer belts1.2–3 m
Drying capacityBy moisture removal needed1–20 t/h briquettes
Drying timeBelt speed and zones1–4 hours
Heat sourceHot-air furnace by fuel typePer local fuel cost

Ranges are indicative. Dryer sizing follows evaporation calculation, not belt size alone.
