When only high pressure works

Standard briquette presses rely on moisture and binder to bind particles. Quicklime hydrates, metal powders oxidize, and many chemical fines cannot tolerate either. Dry powder machines use much higher roller pressure — often hydraulic — to compact material purely by force, producing briquettes for steel mills, chemical plants and metallurgical furnaces.

Key parameters to define

Typical configuration ranges

Ranges are indicative. Dry pressing requires a material test — not all powders briquette binder-free.
