Why crushing comes first

Dryers, briquette presses and carbonization furnaces all assume a defined input size — usually 3–5 mm particles for charcoal production. Branches, offcuts, pallets, coconut shell and bamboo each need a different feeding and rotor arrangement, so the crusher is selected around the raw material you actually have, not a catalog photo.

Key parameters to define

Typical configuration ranges

ItemCommon optionsIndicative range
TypeHammer mill, blade wood crusher, combinedBy feedstock form
OutputModel series by rotor width300 kg/h – 2 t/h
ScreenInterchangeable screens3–10 mm openings
FeedingManual, conveyor, forced-feed rollerBy material size

Ranges are indicative. Pallet and construction wood require nail-tolerant designs.
