The shape advantage

Flaky, elongated aggregate weakens concrete and fails sieve analysis. The impact crusher's high-speed blow bars shatter rock along natural fissures, producing cubical particles that pass specification without a shaping stage.

Rated on limestone-class material. Harder or more abrasive feed reduces capacity and accelerates wear.

Honest limits

On granite, basalt or quartz-rich rock above about 150 MPa, blow-bar wear becomes the dominant operating cost. We will tell you at quotation stage if your material belongs in a cone crusher instead — it is cheaper to be honest early.
