Describe the quarry feed
State the rock type, maximum lump size, moisture, abrasiveness and any test or geological information available. The same jaw crusher model can behave differently with different feed gradations and operating practices. Ask the supplier to state the assumptions behind its capacity range.
Define the duty in the complete line
- Primary feed size and required reduction before the next stage.
- Nominal and peak throughput, operating hours and expected availability.
- Target product sizes and the downstream screen or crusher arrangement.
- Feeder, hopper, conveyor, dust-control and electrical interfaces.
- Fixed or relocatable layout, maintenance access and lifting requirements.
Do not compare a jaw crusher as an isolated machine when the project needs a complete quarry crushing and screening route. The line balance, transfer points and wear strategy affect the real result.
Questions for a Saudi quarry quotation
- Which components are included, and which remain buyer-supplied?
- What jaw plates and other wear parts are included with the shipment?
- What drawings, nameplate information and equipment-specific evidence are available?
- Which test or inspection points can be completed before shipment?
- What packing, export documents, installation and commissioning support are included?
Keep project assumptions visible
If a capacity or product shape depends on a sample test, record the feed, test conditions and limitations. For Saudi import, customs, banking and local compliance questions, confirm current requirements with the buyer’s broker and advisers before production and shipment.
