Describe the feedstock

State the source material, particle-size distribution, moisture, clay, silt, organics and other unwanted fractions. For silica or manufactured sand, include any available laboratory data and the end-use specification. The supplier should state the assumptions behind each proposed capacity and separation result.

Define the water and fines route

• Available water source, quality and operating restrictions.
• Fresh-water requirement and proposed recycling or thickening route.
• Expected fines load and the required washing, classification or dewatering result.
• Discharge, stockpile, access and maintenance constraints at the site.
• Fixed, skid-mounted or relocatable layout requirements.

If a performance result requires a sample test, record the sample, test conditions and limitations. A generic cleanliness statement is not an acceptance criterion.

Compare the complete scope

Ask for screens, washing equipment, pumps, cyclones or dewatering equipment where applicable, conveyors, controls, structures, spares and installation interfaces. Require a drawing that shows material and water flow, plus clear exclusions and optional items. Compare packing, export documents, inspection, commissioning and warranty boundaries together with the equipment price.

Plan Oman delivery checks

Share the project location, road access, power, water, footprint, climate exposure and destination port or inland delivery point. Confirm current customs, product and environmental requirements with the buyer’s broker before shipment. Logistics routing should be planned from the actual project destination rather than assumed from the country name.
