What the batching plant enforces
- Gradation envelope: concrete sand must sit within the specified sieve curve — too fine and water demand spikes, too coarse and workability dies.
- Fines content: material passing 75 μm is limited; clay and dust above limit fail loads on arrival.
- Shell and deleterious material: crushed shell content in coastal sand sources is a real rejection cause in the Gulf.
- Moisture consistency: batching computers assume stable moisture; swinging moisture swings slump.

Gradation is a blending problem
Most plants holding tight envelopes run two streams — a coarser washed sand and recovered fines — and blend at the stockpile. This is where the recovery unit earns its keep twice: once in yield, once in gradation control. We configure the cyclone cut point to your target curve, using your feed sample.
