Describe the limestone before choosing equipment
Record the quarry bench or stockpile source, maximum feed size, moisture, abrasiveness and any laboratory information available. Limestone can vary significantly between sites. A supplier should state which material assumptions support the proposed capacity and product shape.
Define the products and duty
- Target products and screen fractions, including allowable oversize.
- Required tonnes per hour and expected operating schedule.
- Primary, secondary or tertiary reduction stages required.
- Whether fines, dust or a manufactured-sand fraction must be controlled.
- Whether the line is fixed, relocatable or expected to expand later.
Do not treat a sample capacity as a guarantee for every quarry. Final sizing depends on the tested feed, operating conditions and the complete flow sheet.
Include Saudi site and delivery conditions
Share the project location, access route, available power, water, climate exposure, footprint and installation boundary. State the destination port or inland delivery point and the target delivery window. The quotation should identify packing, export documents, inspection points, commissioning support and exclusions.
Questions for the supplier shortlist
- Which equipment is included at each stage, and what is optional?
- What wear parts and recommended spares are included?
- What drawings, test records and equipment-specific photos can be provided?
- How will pre-shipment inspection and deviation handling work?
- Which party is responsible for installation, commissioning and after-sales response?
For Saudi customs, standards, banking and import documentation, confirm current requirements with the buyer’s broker and advisers before shipment. A country landing page cannot replace project-specific verification.
