- Breaking flights: sludge passes a sticky phase around 40–60% moisture; drum internals must scrape, not just lift.
- Odor and VOC: closed exhaust with deodorizing or thermal treatment where regulations require.
- Backmixing: dry product recycled into the feed keeps the cake conveyable — ask whether your design includes it.
