Rock-on-rock or rock-on-iron
Rock-lined chambers ("rock-on-rock") minimize wear cost on abrasive feed like granite and river pebble. Anvil chambers ("rock-on-iron") raise reduction and sand yield on softer feed like limestone. We configure the chamber to your material, not to stock.
Typical range we build
| Model class | Max feed | Indicative capacity |
|---|---|---|
| VSI 7611 | 35 mm | 30–90 t/h |
| VSI 8518 | 40 mm | 80–150 t/h |
| VSI 9526 | 45 mm | 150–300 t/h |
| VSI 1140 | 50 mm | 250–500 t/h |
Throughput and sand yield both depend on rotor speed, feed gradation and moisture.
What a quotation should clarify
| Quotation area | Questions to record |
|---|---|
| Chamber | Rock-on-rock or anvil — and why for your material? |
| Wear set | Rotor tips, wear plates and distributor plate: material, life in hours, price per set? |
| Lubrication | Thin-oil station with temperature/flow protection included? |
| Motor | Single or dual motor drive; soft starter or VFD? |
