Process first
Sand and mineral projects can require crushing, shaping, washing, classification, magnetic separation, gravity separation or other stages. The equipment list should follow the required product and recovery target. A supplier comparison is meaningful only when the same feed and acceptance criteria are used.
Questions that shape the route
- What is the feed material and its particle-size distribution?
- Is the product for concrete, road aggregate, glass, foundry or another use?
- How much clay, silt, moisture or unwanted fraction is present?
- What water source, recycling plan and discharge limits apply?
- For ore, what recovery or concentrate specification must be tested?
